Effective Date: 10 June 2025
Updated; 07 August 2025
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking or participating in any services offered by PawsAbilities. By engaging with PawsAbilities for our training and behaviour consultation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Introduction & Definitions
These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern the provision of all dog training classes, workshops, one-to-one (1:1) training sessions, and behaviour consultations ("Services") offered by PawsAbilities ("we," "us," or "our"). The client ("you," "your," or "owner") refers to the individual(s) who have booked and/or are participating in Services with PawsAbilities.
2. Services Offered
PawsAbilities offers the following Services:
One-to-One (1:1) Training and Behaviour Sessions: Tailored private sessions, addressing specific behavioural concerns such as aggression, separation anxiety, reactivity, fear, house-soiling, and general nuisance behaviours, as well as typical training challenges such as loose lead walking, coming back when called etc.
Workshops: Specialised training events.
3. Booking & Payment
Booking Confirmation: All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment or the agreed initial payment plan instalment.
Payment Terms: Payment for all Services must be made upfront.
For certain Services, payment plans may be available upon prior agreement with PawsAbilities. Details of any payment plan will be agreed in writing before the commencement of Services.
Pricing: All prices for Services are as advertised on our website or as quoted directly by PawsAbilities. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but any change will not affect bookings already confirmed.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Client Cancellation/Rescheduling:
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for any client cancellation or request to reschedule a booked session (including 1:1 training sessions, behaviour consultations, and workshop attendance).
Notice must be given via info@pawsabilities.ie or by calling 085 170 6015.
If less than 48 hours' notice is provided, the full fee for that session will be forfeited, and no refund or credit will be issued.
If you cancel or reschedule a session with sufficient notice (48 hours or more), you may reschedule that specific session without additional charge.
Forfeiture of Payment: If a client reschedules or cancels a specific session two times, the payment for that session will be forfeited. Should the client wish to rebook that specific session, full payment for that session will be required again.
Package Completion: To ensure the best outcomes and progress, it's strongly advised that all sessions within a purchased package or course be completed within three months of the initial booking or start date.
PawsAbilities Cancellation/Rescheduling:
PawsAbilities reserves the right to cancel or reschedule Services due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to trainer illness, family emergency, adverse weather conditions, or insufficient client numbers for workshops.
In such events, you will be notified as soon as reasonably possible via the contact details provided.
Where PawsAbilities cancels a session, you will be offered an alternative date/time, a credit for future services, or a full refund for the cancelled session at our discretion. PawsAbilities shall not be liable for any losses or expenses incurred by you as a result of such cancellations or rescheduling.
5. Client Responsibilities & Requirements
Dog Health & Welfare:
You must inform PawsAbilities of any known health conditions, injuries, infectious diseases (e.g., kennel cough, giardia), or behavioural issues your dog may have prior to booking and attendance.
For workshops, dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations (or provide a valid titre test certificate) appropriate for their age. Proof of vaccination may be requested.
If your dog becomes ill within 48 hours of a scheduled session, please contact us immediately to discuss next steps. It may be necessary to skip the session and ensure your dog's comfort.
Dogs should be free from fleas and worms.

You are legally responsible for your dog's behaviour at all times, including during PawsAbilities' Services.
You must disclose any history of aggression, biting, or serious reactivity towards people or other dogs.
