A huge thank you to Sinead for the in-house training for my 6 month old Golden Retreiver, Bruno. I mainly wanted to focus on his tendency to jump up on people, his barking at people outside the house and getting him to use his bed more often. Sinead was great, she set out a clear plan, demonstrated every technique and explained the reasoning behind it all. The combination of the training, recorded videos and written training notes allowed me to practice with confidence between sessions. After just a few sessions, the change I can see in Bruno is very positive - he is much calmer when we meet people on our walks and good distraction techniques allows him to forget about barking when he sees people outside the door! I would highly recommend Sinead at PawsAbilities for personalised and effective dog training.

We couldn’t be happier with the care our two dogs received. They each have very different needs — one is high-energy and loves constant play, while the other is fearful and avoidant at first. Sinéad was incredibly calm and professional, clearly backed by years of real dog-handling experience. Sinéad took the time to understand each dog’s personality, routine, and quirks, and kept us updated with messages and photos so we could relax knowing they were happy and safe. Sinead has been coming to Toby for 3 weeks now and can’t recommend her enough. She does the comfort break and has him won around already . She is really professional and gives photos and reviews every week. I’m really happy with her service and in the knowledge that Toby is looked after.
